I am grateful for those who offer their lives to seek justice and equality for all people. For those who are compassionate. Patient and yet not stuck. Urgent and yet not compulsive. For those who seek to understand the feelings communicated by others in seemingly unfeeling words. For those who communicate their own feelings in loving ways not just spewing them out for other people to sort out.

In a world ruled by empirical power and self-justification, I cherish those who live vulnerable, humble, servant lives.

What if we rotated from week to week one day a week we would just expect people to be like Christ? Like a church potluck supper. Last names starting with A-C on Sundays of one week, D-G on Mondays of the next week and so on. At least one day a week that way the church could invite people to "see" Christ. - Hobart Rhodeheaver
