simple church

There is a  book out called "Simple Church" and a web site that goes with it.  http://www.simplechurch.com/ A lot of the North American church has become complex organizationally and business wise.  The running of the church has consumed the mission of Christ.  Buildings and programs as well as holding on to members and attempting to get new members has sabotaged much of the American church.  Simple Church isn't the only movement to try to refocus the body called the church.  In the last 15 years especially I have been fortunate to be with a number of folks who are calling the church to simplify and re-center itself solely and fully on the Living Christ.  Ironically, it seems, it takes a lot of courage these days to simply follow Jesus!
