nothing worth writing about

I haven't written here since April because there's nothing been worth writing about. It seems like everything that's been happening nationally and internationally...we've already been around those barns many times.

My personal life...well, it feels like its going through another time of change...and I don't like it. And yet I am excited realizing that God is doing something with me and those around me that will mean a new direction in my life. It has not been easy. It has been hard work. And I am learning new things. Well, not really new things, but re-learning some old things, and finding things I have known to be shifting into new ways of being.

That's good. But I still don't like it! I like other folks want things to stay the way they were. No, not really. I don want things to change, but I want to be in charge of declaring how the change is taking place. That's it! And I am clearly finding out that as much as I may encourage change, I am not in charge of it and I am no immediate fan of what it feels like to change more than the next person.

Kate has finished high school. Graduation is next Monday. Then she and Martha are off to Arizona for their last Summit Choral Society Touring Choir tour. Wow!
